Effective immediately, the San Ramon Arts Foundation has concluded its operations.

For many years, the Foundation has been proud to support and promote the arts in San Ramon — bringing people together through music, visual arts, cultural programs, and community events.

We are deeply grateful to the donors, artists, volunteers, community partners, and residents whose generosity and enthusiasm made this work possible. Your support helped enrich the cultural life of San Ramon and created opportunities for our community to experience and enjoy the arts.

It has been our privilege to serve San Ramon and to help make the arts an important part of our community.

The City of San Ramon will continue to serve the community with programs, events, public arts, and classes.  To learn more, please click link below or call the San Ramon Parks and Community Services front desk at 925-973-3200.

Thank you for being part of the San Ramon Arts Foundation’s story.

Featured Artist: Rashmi

Rashmi is a self-taught artist and art instructor who creates original artwork in a wide variety of subjects mostly from her imagination and/or a combination of images that surround us in nature everywhere.

She is a former member of the San Francisco Women Artists Gallery and the Lamorinda Arts Alliance. She has participated and been selected in various juried solo and group shows including ones by the city of San Ramon, Lafayette, Bedford Gallery in Walnut Creek, Piedmont Center for the Arts, and the San Francisco Women Artists Gallery.  She has also sold her paintings at Art Galleries, Art Fairs and Holiday Boutiques as owner of Rashmi’s Art Carte throughout the Bay Area. She also does commissioned artwork.

Whether it’s an abstract or a landscape, a still life or a floral, each painting is an extension of Rashmi, carrying a piece of her heart within.  Hopefully the viewers can embark on this journey with her and explore their feelings with each creation.  After all, that’s the beauty of art…connecting people together!
