Debbie Saravia began dancing at the age of 11 and has been dancing and choreographing ever since. Dancing and performing primarily in San Francisco until moving to Danville in 1993 she began teaching locally ever since.
Dance has always been her passion. “I can never stop, it’s a physical, mental and spiritual life journey that continues to excite and challenge me and I’ve been blessed to study with a lot of talented teachers”.
Prior to the Pandemic Debbie was Co-Artistic Director of Jumpin’ at the Sun Dance Company (JATS) – the resident dance company of the City of San Ramon winning best local Dance Company by Diablo Magazine in 2016 (funded by the San Ramon Arts Foundation who she has been a board member for the past 10 years).
Currently teaching adult ballet and dance fusion classes as an independent contractor for the City of San Ramon, she is still bringing the joy of dance to her students and has created a beautiful community of local dancers.
