Our current project is to support the newly renovated Dougherty Station Community Arts Center. This renovated Arts Center, originally built in 2005, is the hub of arts and culture in San Ramon. From the popular Ridge View Room and Front Row Theater, several art and sound studios, and multiple meeting rooms, the Dougherty Station Community Center has something for the entire community. The Arts Center hosts special events and performances and offers visual and performing arts classes, programs, and workshops for our art patrons and students.

The San Ramon Arts Foundation has and will continue to play a critical role in expanding the facilities in the coming years with:

– New art related equipment, such as folding art horses, easels, and drawing boards
– Program supplies for in-house art programs, such as clay, paint, paint brushes, canvas, and art paper
– Gallery Enhancements, such as 3D art pedestals and acrylic covers for the art galleries
– Low-cost/free workshops

We will also continue to co-sponsor popular City of San Ramon events such as the Summer Concert Series, the Presenting Series, and Culture in the Community Celebration.
