Dave Owens

Dave joined the San Ramon Arts Foundation Board in 2020. In addition to his service with the Arts Foundation, Dave serves as the Vice Chairperson for the San Ramon Arts Advisory Committee. He has worked as an attorney for more than 10 years, advising technology companies, independent filmmakers, artists, and non-profit organizations. He has also taught a business law class at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising since 2015.

Dave has a Bachelor of Arts from Ball State University in Telecommunications, where he was a recipient of the David Letterman Telecommunications Scholarship for a screenplay he wrote. He then received his Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco School of Law. He has been a resident of San Ramon since 2016, along with his jaunty chihuahua/rat terrier named Kevin.
